Contest Info…

Contests, giveaways and the like are great fun, and Mimsi Bags is involved in a few around the web.  Occasionally we will be hosting them, more often we will be donating a bag to another great contest site.

If you are the winner of one of these contests or giveaways, you will generally get to design your own custom bag (unless it’s a pre-made bag giveaway).  For this we do ask that you get back to us quickly, as your bag will be put into the sewing lineup based upon when we have all of the details squared away.  The sooner we connect with you, the sooner you will have your bag!

For some of the bags, they will have a more limited fabric selection - if this is the case, we do request that you not request a premium fabric in place of the fabrics that are offered.  Our bags are priced based on the cost of the fabric used and the difficulty of the individual bag.  If the pricing is based on less expensive fabric, we ask that you honor that, as many of our high-end fabrics are quite expensive.

If you are a contest or review site and are interested in hosting a giveaway, please email us for details.  Just an FYI for you - we do not send out bags made from premium upgrade fabrics for reviews or giveaways.  Please don’t ask for us to send you our most expensive bag with a fabric upgrade as a free bag for review, and then ask for a donated custom premium fabric bag for a giveaway as well - we simply cannot afford to do it at this time (yes, we do get this request very often).  Please keep in mind that we are still a small business, and are working to support our families just like you are.  If we are running a promotion for a bag that costs over $100, we may occasionally  contact some of our often used giveaway sites and offer the option to them, but to have that option you must have established a relationship with us first.
